Then we looked at PPC (Pay per Click) as an option. This was an option that looked good until the cost was revealed. It was prohibitive at best. We also realized the ad-word optimization was good only as long as you were on the top but many times the listing would be rotated out, to the right or not even there!
We decided that the best way for search optimization was old fashion hard work. We started to research what those search engines were “really” doing. We tried and re-tried and then it happened! All that hard work started to pay off! We moved up from 30 or 40 pages back to 20 pages to 10 and then 1st place. Currently our company has 64 different search criteria that is 1st place in the generic ads. Since then we have done the same thing for other companies to test our technique with the same results.
Additional research proved that the top generic ad was 5 times more likely to be clicked than the pay ads. Our research and success proved that fact. Our traffic exploded! We began experiencing more traffic AND sales than ever before. back »
